BANKSYBanksy,a pseudonymous United Kingdom artist who create the first "Graffiti Art". Other than that,he is even a director,and a painter. His art usually consist the colour of black and white he which is dark humour in a distinctive stenciling technique. He usually paint his graffiti art at the streets,walls,bridges,His work was made up from the Bristol Underground Scene which involved collaborations between artists and musician.He was born in 1974 and was raised in Bristol,England.He was the son of a photocopier Technician,trained as a butcher but then he got involved with the art of graffiti in the year of 1980s.His style of his work has been observed as
similar to the Blek Le Rat,who began to world with the technique of stencils in 1981 in paris.
Banksy state that he was inspired by "3D".His artwork has been act as a vandalism by the government and the society because of how and where he paint his work which is at the street,wall,bridges and
even all along the road.His artwork has never been sells in photograph or reproductions..But art auctioneers have been known to attempt to sell his street art on location and leave the problem of its removal in the hands of the winning bidder.On the other hand,he even film a movie.His first film was called Exit Through The Gift Shop,billed as the world's first street art that had made its debut in 2010 Sundance Film Festival.The film was released in the UK on 5th March 2010.He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best
Documentary for the film in January 2011.In 2014,he was awarded person of the year at the 2014 Webby Awards.
EARLY CAREER
Banksy start his freehand graffiti art in 1990-1996 as one of the Bristol's DryBreadz(DBZ) with Katoand Tes.Banksy ain't just got inspired by "3D" but he even got inspired by local artists and his work was part of the larger Bristol Underground Scene with Nick Walker,Inkie and 3D.During that time,he met A Bristol photographer Steve Lazarides.The one one began to sell Banksy work.After that banksy has become his agent.From the start Banksy used stencils and elements of his freehand pieces,too.Banksy by 200 had turned to the art of stencilling after realising how much less time it took to complete a work.He claims that he changed to stencilling while he was hiding from the police under a rubbish lorry after when he noticed the stencilled seriel number and by using this technique.After he employed this technique,he became more widely noticed for his art around Bristol and London.In 1997,Banksy first known large wall mural was "The Mild Mild West" to cover advertising of a former solicitors office on Stokes Croft Avenue,Bristol.It depicts a teddybear lobbing a Molotov Cocktail at three riot police.
Exhibitions (2002-2003)
In the year of 20012 12th june,Banksy's first Los Angeles exhibiton debuted at Gallery,a tiny Silver Lake venue owned by Frank Sosa.The exhibiton,entitled Existencilism,was curated by 331⁄3 The Gallery,Malathion LA's Chris Vargas,Funk Lazy Promotions'Grace Jehan,and B+.

In August 2004,Banksy produced a quantity of spoof British £10 notes substituting the picture of the Queen's head with Diana,Princess of Wales's head and changing the text "Bank of England".

In August 2005,while on a trip to the Palestinian territories,he created nine images on the Israeli West Bank wall.Banksy even held an exhibition called "Barely Legal,Billed as a "three-day vandalised warehouse extravaganza" in Los Angeles on 16september 2006.The exhibition is featured as a live "Elephant in a room",painted in a pink and gold floral wallpaper pattern which is according to the leaflets handed out at the exhibition. It was actually intended to draw attention to the issue of world poverty.At first the Animal Services Department had issued as they didn't agree a permit for the elephant but then after complaints from animal rights activist,its owner rejected claims of mistreatment and said that the elephant had done a lot of movies.Banksy also made an artwork on displaying Queen Victoria as a lesbian and satricial pieces that in corporated art made by Andy Warhol and Leonardo Da Vinci.
